Kindly organised by GBx Board Member, Alastair Paterson, join to hear bag pipes and live music around a bonfire! Bring your own mulled wine/hot chocolate, marshmallows and picnic blanket.
We will meet at the Pelican Inn at 4pm. At 6pm a bag piper will lead everyone to the beach for the bonfire. Live music starts at 7pm. If you arrive after 6pm meet at the beach.
The Pelican Inn is described by the Telegraph as ““A delightful, whitewashed, English 16th-century-style inn set on one of the most beautiful stretches of coast in America, just north of San Francisco. It’s a slice of England but with the California sunshine.”
Parking: Park at the Pelican Inn if there is room, or else the Muir Beach car park. I recommend coming by car and sharing rides where possible. Arriving earlier will make parking easier.
Note: The Pelican Inn will be busy and it will be hard to get food/drink there, so please bring:
– Food/drink for yourselves to have at the beach
– A picnic blanket/mat or similar to sit on
– Blankets and warm clothes in case it’s cold!
This is a family-friendly event so bring them along. Look forward to seeing you there!
