Join GBx for the launch of **Power Brits in the Bay**, a series of fireside chats celebrating inspirational British leaders, who have built unicorns or risen to the top echelons of the world’s largest tech companies. 

We’re kicking the series off with a fireside chat between two remarkable British unicorn founders: Pete Flint and Immad Akhund hosted by NFX at their offices in San Francisco.

[Pete Flint](https://www.linkedin.com/in/peteflint/) OBE is a co-founder and General Partner of NFX, a pre-seed and seed stage Venture Capital fund. Prior to NFX he co-founded Trulia, one of the internet’s most successful marketplaces and led it as CEO from inception through IPO and its eventual $3.5Bn merger with Zillow. Before Trulia, Pete was part of the founding team at [lastminute.com](http://lastminute.com), Europe’s leading online travel site, acquired by Travelocity for over $1 billion. 

**[Immad Akhund](https://www.linkedin.com/in/iakhund/)** is the founder and CEO of Mercury, a fintech unicorn that more than 200K ambitious companies trust with their finances. He also hosts the Founders in Arms podcast and is an active seed investor. Previously, Immad has served as a partner at Y Combinator and co-founded Heyzap.
