GBx’s Power Brit Investor series spotlights Britain’s most accomplished venture capitalists: investors who have raised over $1Bn in funds, or backed at least one unicorn.
We’re kicking off the series with a fireside chat between Colin le Duc and Pete Flint OBE, two investors shaping the future of global technology.
Colin Le Duc is a Founding Partner of Generation Investment Management, alongside former Vice President Al Gore and David Blood, former CEO of Goldman Sachs Asset Management. Generation was established in 2004 as a dedicated sustainable investor. Colin is head of the firm’s San Francisco office and focuses primarily on Generation’s Private Markets businesses. He also serves as Vice Chair of Just Climate, a Generation business dedicated to climate-led investing.
Pete Flint OBE is a Co-Founder and General Partner of NFX, a pre-seed and seed stage venture capital fund. Prior to NFX he co-founded Trulia, one of the internet’s most successful marketplaces and led it as CEO from inception through IPO and its eventual $3.5Bn merger with Zillow. Before Trulia, Pete was part of the founding team at lastminute.com, Europe’s leading online travel site, acquired by Travelocity for over $1Bn.
For investors and founders alike, this is a rare opportunity to hear how world-class VCs think about risk, returns, networks, and long-term value creation.
