Aaref Hilaly grew up in North London, attended Oxford and Harvard, and then moved to the Bay Area. He co-founded two software companies (CenterRun and Clearwell) which were acquired by Sun Microsystems and Symantec. He then joined Sequoia Capital as a partner on its early-stage fund, where he led investments in Clari, Guardant Health (NASDAQ: GH), Lightstep, Skyhigh Networks (acquired by McAfee), and ThousandEyes. Last year, he joined Wing VC, where he invests in early-stage (Seed/Series A) enterprise apps and infra.
Andy McLoughlin, prior to joining Uncork (formerly known as SoftTech), Andy was an active angel investor, working with companies like Postmates, Intercom, Buffer, Pipedrive, Bugsnag, Zesty, Secret Escapes. He was co-founder of London and San Francisco-based Huddle, a leading enterprise SaaS collaboration platform. Andy’s personal portfolio have collectively raised over $700M in venture funding from top tier firms including Benchmark, Bessemer, Atomico, Social Capital, Google Ventures, Spark Capital, Index Ventures, Founders Fund, Matrix Partners, and Battery.
Hannah Chelkowski is an early-stage investor at Inovia Capital, a full-stack VC fund with offices in Montreal, Toronto, San Francisco and London. Hannah joined Inovia Capital in 2018 after having worked at Initialized Capital and Total S.A. She relocated to San Francisco from London three years ago, has six years of experience in corporate finance, and a BSc in Economics and Finance from the University of Brighton. Hannah has a particular interest in marketplaces, consumer, fintech and the prosumerization of enterprise tools.
Nicky Kamra is an early stage investor at Streamlined Ventures, a seed fund based in San Francisco focused on data science and applied AI. Prior to Streamlined, Nicky was Director of Growth and Operations at Skillshare, where she joined as an early employee. She also worked at Wildfire (acquired by Google) and Balderton Capital, a leading European venture capital firm. Nicky holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Columbia University and an MBA from London Business School.
